Our Church Covenant

Having been touched by the love of God in the person of Jesus Christ and having confessed Him as our Savior and Lord; being baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; we do joyfully enter this covenant with one another as one body in Christ.

Therefore, accepting the Bible as the rule for faith and practice, we will seek the will of God through Bible study, public worship, Christian service and obedience, depend on His grace, trust in His promises and yield ourselves to Jesus Christ daily. We will strive to supplement our faith with love, justice, maturity and a life of obedience.

We pledge to support and uphold one another in Christian love, to remember each other in prayer. We will love and respect others. We will express in deeds of love and concern our acceptance of all people. Further, we commit ourselves to share our Christian faith at home and abroad and to work for justice, righteousness and peace. We will be quick to forgive and reconcile.

We further covenant to strengthen the life of our church as we give ourselves gratefully in Christian service and witness, and accept the responsibility to share in the activities and financial support of the church; to work for its spiritual maturity; to sustain its worship and to uphold its ordinances and disciplines.

We moreover covenant, that if we move from this place, we will unite with another church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant.
