First Baptist Church, an American Baptist Church

First Baptist Church is a member congregation of the American Baptist Churches, USA and Mid-American Baptist Churches.  Through the ABC/USA, first Baptist supports missions projects in Iowa, Minnesota, and around the world.  Some of the ABC Mission activities that First Baptist Church participates in include:

-     Mid-American Baptist Churches and its various ministries
-     Mid-American Baptist Camps
-    ABC International Ministries - Supported by the World Mission Offering and volunteer missionaries from our congregation
-    ABC National Ministries - Supported by the the America for Christ Offering
-    One Great Hour of Sharing - Supports persons in need in times of special
-    Central Baptist Theological Seminary
-    The National Council of Churches and World Council of Churches - Supporting Ecumenical Ministry around the world
